DATA DELETION
How to request deletion of your AdvantEdge data
AdvantEdge, operated by Langston Digital LLC, respects your right to control your personal information. If you would like us to delete data associated with your account or your interaction with an AdvantEdge tenant business, this page explains how.
Who this page is for
You can request deletion whether you are:
- A Subscriber — a business that has an AdvantEdge subscription.
- An Authorized User — an employee or contractor of a Subscriber.
- An End-Customer — someone who booked a service through an AdvantEdge tenant.
- Someone who signed in via Facebook or Instagram and wants their data removed from AdvantEdge.
How to submit a request
Email privacy@advantedge.services from the email address associated with your account. Include:
- Your full name
- The email address on file with AdvantEdge (or the Facebook/Instagram account you used to sign in)
- The name of the AdvantEdge tenant business if you interacted as an End-Customer
- A brief statement that you want your data deleted
Verification: To protect against unauthorized deletion requests, we will verify your identity by email before acting on your request. Please reply promptly to any verification message we send.
What happens next
- Within 5 business days we will acknowledge your request.
- Within 30 days we will delete or anonymize your personal information from our systems, subject to legal retention obligations described in our Privacy Policy.
- We will confirm the deletion by email when it is complete.
What we delete
On completion of your request we will:
- Delete or anonymize your profile record (name, email, phone).
- Delete authentication credentials associated with your account.
- Delete any Facebook or Instagram OAuth tokens we store on your behalf.
- Remove your personal identifiers from booking, quote, and message history. For End-Customers, the underlying business records (job scheduled, amount paid, service performed) may be retained by the tenant business in an anonymized form for their own tax, accounting, and legal purposes.
What we may retain
Some information may be retained after your deletion request when a legal or contractual obligation requires it. This includes:
- Transaction records required by tax and accounting law (typically 7 years).
- Records that are the subject of an active legal claim or investigation.
- Anonymized, aggregated analytics that cannot be traced back to you.
Data controlled by an AdvantEdge tenant business
If you are an End-Customer, the tenant business that served you is generally the controller of your information under privacy law, and AdvantEdge processes that data on their behalf. Your deletion request will delete or anonymize your data at the AdvantEdge platform level; if you need the tenant business to also purge their own records, contact them directly. We will assist tenants in responding to such requests if they contact us.
Facebook and Instagram integration
If you connected your Facebook Page or Instagram Business account so that AdvantEdge could publish posts on your behalf, disconnecting the integration inside AdvantEdge — or removing AdvantEdge from your Facebook Business Settings — will delete the OAuth tokens we hold for your account. You can also request deletion using the email process above, or Meta may send us a signed data-deletion callback that we honor automatically.
